What are the strengths of this product?

In order to compare the strengths I would have a comparison, which I lack. Only compared to bmc is clear that a tool specialist has advantages with respect to the integration of data. The allowed direct contact to Spider often allows a quick response, which is helpful.
Becasuse of the tool modularity separation of responsibilities is possible.

What are the weaknesses of this product?

The maintenance allocation in version 6.2.10 is still quite "getting used to" and not to open up immediately. At the moment we are struggeling, HW Assets clean allocate the same business units such as SW assets.

What features would you add if you had the choice?

Software still lacks of graphical representation for license history. I now and then need a graphical presentation of license and maintenance history. The usage of the product catalog has still some weaknesses. So a parallel search of the available products would be useful for me to have to open without an additional instance. Moreover I wish from the catalog the option of including the support.

What are the strengths of this product?

Flexible Connection Options to 3rd Party systems, Uncluttered interface Individual configurations possible, Very good license and asset management know-how, "transparent" service offers

What are the weaknesses of this product?

Weak search in Contract and Core Data (Core is becoming increasingly important for user licenses / cloud offerings), Contract data combined with licenses / maintenance is very important and difficult to separate. The Compliance area is still too confusing. If you want to transfer the results in a dashboard or reporting, too many manual interventions to be made. If one operates license pooling (A pool that distributes to all levels), this may in the "Compliance" is not displayed correctly.

What features would you add if you had the choice?

More search functions, bulk upload function for licenses or contracts
